satisfaction (for sin)
   This word (from the Latin satisfacere, meaning "to do enough") refers to the actions taken by a sinner to make amends or reparation for sin; satisfaction includes prayer and penance to restore a sinner's relationship with Godand restitution to restore a sinner's relationship with others in the community.
